Honestly, I almost never watch TV for major events even though I create content around just about every one. I find it too distracting but mostly annoying. Services like Twitter and Google Trends provide more than enough insight for my job.However wifey has the 2009 Oscars on and I can't help but keep hearing little birdies chirping. Before each break ABC is pushing Twitter pretty hard. "Tweet Us!"  "Give us Your Tweets!" they proclaim. You can follow their official account here, say something witty enough and your tweet might be shown on TV. Get your 15 seconds, overlayed on someone else's 15 minutes!
