22-year-old Nick Adenhart, the rookie pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels, was killed last night in a tragic hit-and-run in Fullerton, CA. The crash occurred just after midnight — and just hours after Nick pitched a six inning shutout against the Oakland A’s — when a red minivan ran a red light and collided into the silver Mitsubishi Nick was riding in. The Mitsubishi had four passengers, two of which were pronounced dead at the scene and two who were rushed to the nearest hospital. One of the two died at the hospital.
